I cannot recreate your error in FireFox, but viewing as a Guest in IE 7 I see what you're seeing. I'll look into it and see what's going on. It must be a bug of some sort.

I figured it out. The system had a null value in a column that determined whether to hide the forum or not. It was set to not show any hidden forums, but wasn't smart enough to correct for the null. Let me know if you're stil having troubles.

The bug is still there. It turns out if you remember to hit Enter at the end of your last line, the problem is MUCH less likely to occur. In testing, I can't make it happen if I hit enter after the last bit of text, but it almost always happens if I don't.
